The decision to study real estate may result from any number of reasons, including, extending the family business, the chance to interact with enthusiastic professionals, the sector’s dynamic and diverse aspects or the general impression of an exciting career.
Whatever the real reasons, the common denominator remains a plethora of careers to meet the taste and personality of everyone.
The curriculum entails practical application, site visits and corporate testimonies that are organised throughout the duration of studies.
A 3-year tertiary cycle
Law remains the major discipline necessary for a career in real estate, although, IT and English, are also taught and are indispensable. Consequently, legal studies constitute the bulk of the first two years of study but mainly concern all segments of the real estate sector, which makes it more interesting.
The goal of the third year syllabus is two fold. It facilitates students’ entry into the profession, if they so desire, via two options: Transaction or Property management. The third year also allow students to enter ESPI Master’s program, if they wish to do so.
ESPI’s 2-year Master’s program
The first year is full time and open to University graduates or equivalent, wishing to specialise in real estate. Those students holding a degree in Real Estate studies or who have completed ESPI’s third year may do this year in rotation.
The second year of the ESPI Master’s program concentrates on the profession and students will have to choose one of the four options offered.
Planning, Promotion and Construction (APC)
Professional audit consultancy (AEC)
Management of Real estate services (MSI)
Financial engineering in the real estate sector (IFIM)
Students who have completed the Master’s 1 program (legal, economic, commercial and technical studies) may request direct admission to the 2nd year of the ESPI Masters’ program where space is limited.
